Pacific Northwest music news for Nov 22-28, 2011

-After 10 years together, Visqueen will be having their farewell performance on November 26 at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle. Tickets to the event are here.

-Portlandia goes on tour! (Yes, the tour stop includes Portland, why are you even asking me this)

-Kris Orlowski’s CD release show is happening this Wednesday, November 24 at Tractor Tavern in Seattle. Hot Bodies In Motion and Smokey Brights will also be performing.

-In other new release info, Seapony has a new 7″ EP, Death Cab For Cutie remixed Codes and Keys, Wheedle’s Groove has a limited edition 45’s box set out on Friday, and it looks like Macklemore is jumping on the vinyl bandwagon too…DROP THE NEEDLE!

-Seattle and Portland screenings for a documentary about the post-hardcore 90’s band KARP are this week, check here for schedule, clips and other info.

-Forget Wal-Mart this Friday, and hit up your local shop for Record Store Back To Black Friday instead. The list of titles available for this event are listed here. We’ll post more info on what local shops are doing, so check back with us after you’ve doused yourself in gravy this Thursday.

-Speaking of Black Friday, Sasquatch Festival will be selling discounted 4 day passes to the 2012 event, starting at 9 AM. No, the lineup isn’t up yet, and yes, you will still have to wait until May to actually attend.

-Vancouver, since you ate all your turkey and gravy in October, you can head over to the Grey Cup Festival instead. See Bend Sinister, Rococode, Hey Ocean, and morreeeee
